what's

FIKA?

Fikart comes from FIKA, a Swedish slang for "coffee and cake break".

It means making time for friends, family, and colleagues to share a cup of coffee and a little something to eat.

We LOVED the concept and added a creative twist to it!

It's all about having a creative break while enjoy the moment.

Who is behind the COLORFUL HANDS?

I’m Daniela Benrey, a creative mind from Colombia who migrated to Israel.

Like many in high-tech, I once found myself caught in the long-hours grind. Burnout became a reality, leaving me mentally and creatively blocked. In search of a break, I turned to art supplies and let myself get creative.

That simple act of creating, with no pressure or goals, brought a wave of relaxation and joy. It made me realize the importance of slowing down and taking breaks that aren't about productivity.

why

CLAY?

Clay is soft, easy to manipulate and at the same time it's messy and fun!

Pottery gives people the opportunity to unplug from technology and connect with something tangible.

Working with clay allows your mind to focus on the material in your hands. It creates a deep mind-body connection, something much needed in our often hectic and busy lives.

Finally, it will bring you lots of satisfaction to see what your hands are capable of creating, and you never know, you might end up with a great masterpiece displaying on your shelf.
